Spike Island International Fellowship 2001

First four month International Fellowship at Spike Island in Bristol run in partnership with Visiting Arts. In 2001 it focused on the Balkans and South East Europe region (Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, FYR of Macedonia, Romania, Serbia & Montenegro). There were 28 artists from the region considered. It was awarded by a UK selection panel to Tanya Abadjieva from Bulgaria. Her residency culminated in the exhibition, Drawing Wood.
